Chippers in Queensland

"We were in the area after going to the pool and found this place only by chance, searching "fish and chip shop near me" but oh boy am I glad this place come up! Had to do a few U turns and back and forthsies before finding somewhere to park but it was worth the effort. The chips were the best chips i have ever had, idk how they got them so crispy no other chips will ever live up to Chippers. The cod was yummy, the gravy full of flavour, we enjoyed the calamari, the only thing that could be improved if anything, was the potato scallops they tasted a bit generic out of a bag in the freezer but were still really nice. If I ever find myself in the area again im keen to give one of the burgers a go with a tonne of those epic chips of course."

"Oh man, this was an experience. After a stressful few weeks, being able to sit down in a gloriously cool, shaded area and enjoy my burger and chips in a relaxed atmosphere was just what I needed to help me wind down and chill out. It didn't hurt that the service was exceptional, the Burger (an Ol' Timer with the works, featuring bacon, egg, pineapple, beetroot and one of the juiciest, most flavourful burger patties I've experienced in a long time!) was delicious and the chips (I ordered a medium serve and got more than what I would have expected in a large!) were glorious, but the real treasure was the vibe and the atmosphere. Definitely gonna be headed back before too long."

It's the best fish and chips we've had in along time, most fish and chip shops their fish and chips are too oily, but these were perfect. The owner was super friendly. "Absolutely fabulous food cooked to perfection. It was our first time here and the quality of the food is outstanding, this guy is passionate about cooking and it shows. The homemade tartare sauce had all three of us enthralled. We ordered dinner for two plus the whiting. To say there was a lot of food is an understatement. The three of us walked out very satiated and feeling full, it wasn’t heavy though as there was minimal oil on anything. Which is another thing we loved about it. We ate in and sat around the back under cover and sheltered from the wind. Our food was delivered to the table in virtually no time at all with a smile. We highly recommend Chippers to you if you enjoy quality seafood. Next time we’ll try the burgers, they looked delicious."

"Tony and the crew sure know how to make some fish and chips. Chips cooked perfectly, nice and golden, plenty of chicken salt. Crumb on the whiting and calamari nice and crispy, perfect amount of breading. Seafood tastes super fresh. And the Mr Krabs burger was phenomenal. Will be back for sure!"
